Scata is a commune in the French Haute-Corse on the island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Casinca-Fiumalto in the Arrondissement of Corte . The residents call themselves Scatois or Scatinchi.

geography

Scata is located in Castagniccia at about 250 meters above sea level. Neighboring communities are La Porta and Piano in the northeast, San-Gavino-d'Ampugnani in the east, San-Damiano in the south and Ficaja in the west.
