Pruno is a commune in the French Haute-Corse on the island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Casinca-Fiumalto in the Arrondissement of Corte . The settlement area is on average 429 meters above sea level. Neighboring municipalities are Porri in the north, Penta-di-Casinca and Taglio-Isolaccio in the northeast, Pero-Casevecchie in the east, Velone-Orneto in the southeast, San-Gavino-d'Ampugnani and San-Damiano in the southwest, Scata and Casalta in the west as well Silvareccio in the northwest.
