Matra is a French commune in the Haute-Corse on the island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Ghisonaccia in the Arrondissement of Corte . It is bordered by Perelli to the north, Moïta to the east, Zalana to the south and Pianello to the west . The village center is 560 meters above sea level. The residents call themselves Maturinchi .
