Castiglione is a municipality on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Golo-Morosaglia canton . The residents call themselves Castiglionais or Castigliunesi . The settlement area is on average 726 meters above sea level. Neighboring communities are Asco and Moltifao in the north-west, Popolasca and Prato-di-Giovellina in the north-east, Omessa and Castirla in the south-east and Corscia in the south-west.
