Saliceto

Saliceto , in Corsican U Salgetu, is a municipality in Castagniccia on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corsica region , the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Golo-Morosaglia canton . The residents call themselves the Salgitinchi.

geography

The populated area is on average 750 meters above sea level and consists of the villages of Saliceto and Vicinatu. The neighboring municipalities are Gavignano in the north, Croce in the northeast and east, Nocario in the east, Campana in the southeast, San-Lorenzo and Aiti in the south, Omessa in the southwest, Prato-di-Giovellina in the west and Piedigriggio in the northwest.
