Piazzole is a municipality in Castagniccia on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Castagniccia canton . The center of the village is located 450 meters above sea level. Neighboring municipalities are San-Damiano and San-Gavino-d'Ampugnani in the northeast, Velone-Orneto in the southeast, Monacia-d'Orezza in the south, Rapaggio and Stazzona in the southwest, Piedicroce , Verdèse and Polveroso in the west and Croce and Ficaja in the northwest.
