Monacia-d'Orezza is a municipality on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Castagniccia canton .
Geography, infrastructure
The settlement area at about 590 meters above sea level consists of the villages Osto, Picchiaracce, Teglia, Gallico and Casanova. The Mairie is located in Teglia. Neighboring communities are Piazzole in the north, San-Damiano in the northeast, Velone-Orneto in the east, San-Giovanni-di-Moriani and Parata in the southeast, Valle-d'Orezza in the south, Rapaggio in the southwest, Stazzona in the west and Piedicroce , Verdese , Polveroso and Croce in the northwest.
