Valle-d'Orezza is a municipality in Castagniccia on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . it belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Castagniccia canton . The residents call themselves Vallais or Vallacci . The settlement area is on average 600 meters above sea level. In addition to the main settlement, this also includes the villages of Poggie, Palazze, Gaetana, Piedi Pietro, Tràmica and Poggio. Neighboring municipalities are Monacia-d'Orezza in the north, Velone-Orneto , San-Giovanni-di-Moriani and Parata in the northeast, Santa-Reparata-di-Moriani in the east, Felce in the southeast, Tarrano in the south, Carpineto in the southwest, Carcheto- Brustico in the west and Stazzona , Rapaggio and Piedicroce in the northwest.
