Campile

Campile is a French commune on the island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corsica region , the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Golo-Morosaglia canton . The residents call themselves Campilacci.

geography

In the north, the river Golo forms the municipal boundary . A railway line of the Chemins de fer de la Corse with a stop and the Route nationale 193 runs outside the municipal marker . The former runs in the northwest via Campile without serving the place directly.

The village center is in the Corsican mountains at 660 meters above sea level. Neighboring communities are Volpajola in the north, Prunelli-di-Casacconi in the northeast, Olmo in the east, Monte in the southeast, Crocicchia and Penta-di-Casinca in the south, Bisinchi in the southwest and Campitello in the northwest.
