Porri is a French commune on the Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Casinca-Fiumalto canton . The residents call themselves Porrinchi .
geography
The settlement area is about 550 meters above sea level near the 1218 m high Mont Sant 'Anghjulu . In addition to the main settlement, this also includes the hamlets Panicale, Casanova and Curona , the latter at about 600 m. ü. M. Neighboring communities are Sorbo-Ocagnano in the north, Penta-di-Casinca and Castellare-di-Casinca in the northeast, Taglio-Isolaccio , Pruno and Pero-Casevecchie in the southeast, Casalta in the southwest, Silvareccio in the west and Loreto-di-Casinca in the Northwest.
