Corscia

Corscia is a municipality on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Golo-Morosaglia canton . The residents call themselves Curscinchi .

geography

The main town is located in the Corsican mountains at 837 meters above sea level. Corscia also includes the hamlets of Costa, Cavallaracce, Pantanacce, Piana, Pruno and Cuccia . The neighboring communities are Asco in the north and north-west, Castiglione in the north-east, Castirla and Soveria in the east, Corte in the south and in the south-east, Calacuccia in the south-west and Lozzi in the west.
