Valle-d'Alesani is a municipality in Castagniccia on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Castagniccia canton . The residents call themselves Vallais or Vallaci . The settlement area is 620 meters above sea level. Neighboring municipalities are Felce in the north, Santa-Reparata-di-Moriani and Cervione in the northeast, Sant'Andréa-di-Cotone and Pietra-di-Verde in the southeast, Ortale in the south, Novale , Perelli and Piazzali in the southwest, and Pietricaggio in the west Tarrano in the northwest.
