Rospigliani (Corsican: Ruspigliani ) is a French commune with 71 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), which is located in the Haute-Corse department and in the Corsica region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Corte and the Canton of Fiumorbo-Castello . The area around Rospigliani is known for the Corsican black pines and is popular with motorcyclists because of the many small and winding roads.

Rospigliani is located at an altitude between 238 and 1450  m , the place itself is at about 655  m . The municipality covers a total of 982 ha (9.82 km²). The place is located on the northeast slope of the Col d'Erbajo , which reaches an altitude of 1250  m . The town is connected to the road network from the north via Noceta by the departmental roads D43 / D143. To the south you reach the capital of the canton , Vezzani .

Attractions

The parish church of St. Martin is one of the buildings worth seeing. This is of medieval origin and has been redesigned and rebuilt in recent years.
