Indian national cricket team in Australia in the 2014-15 season

The Indian national cricket team's tour to Australia in the 2014/15 season took place from November 24, 2014 to January 10, 2015. The international cricket tour was part of the 2014/15 international cricket season . The series consisted entirely of a series of four test matches that Australia won 2-0.

prehistory

Heading

The first test was originally scheduled for December 4, 2014 in Brisbane. Following the death of Phillip Hughes in a game at Sheffield Shield , this was postponed and the test was initially held in Adelaide. Another tour match, which was also planned in Adelaide, was canceled.

classification

The series were the last tests for both teams before the 2015 Cricket World Cup, which also took place in Australia . Following this tour, both teams played the Carlton Mid Triangular Series in England to a three-nation tournament in ODI cricket.
