Attractions
- Sainte-Barbe Chapel : classified as a monument historique ; the tower was built in the 13th century near a source of sulfur water, probably on the site of an older sanctuary. The ship dates from the 17th century.
- Sulfur lake : known since the Roman era, its water was then directed to Strasbourg. The lake is a small natural pool of water at the heel of the Souffel spring . The output of the underground spring reaches 17 liters per second, its temperature (around 12–13 ° C) is constant and consequently the lake never freezes. Because of its sulfur content , the water was used in thermal baths from Roman times until the 1950s to soothe skin diseases. The lake also served as a horse washing place (as: Rosschwemm ): a mild slope enabled the animals to get into the water without any problems.
- Church of Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur : the choir tower, built by the architect Bernach in the 12th century, is classified as a monument historique . The choir and nave were rebuilt in 1865 after a fire.
- Buddhist temple: Since 1978 Kuttolsheim has been one of the four places in Alsace where there is a Buddhist center. As it is the European Institute for Tibetan Buddhism , the Dalai Lama has been there several times.
