Conclave 1447
The conclave of 1447 was the election meeting of the Cardinals after the death of Pope Eugenius IV. And lasted of 4 March 1447 to March 6, 1447. He chose Tommaso Parentucelli, the Pope Nicholas V called.

The college of cardinals had 26 members at the beginning of the conclave . Of these, however, 8 cardinals did not take part in the election, so that the electoral college actually comprised 18 members. This met in the Dominican monastery Sopra Minerva in Rome . The election of Pope Nicholas V took place on the morning of March 6, 1447 and was generally considered a surprise.
The two-thirds majority required for the election required 12 votes.
