The Toyota Ractis is a small car that the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota produces only for the Japanese market. It's a five-seater based on the Vitz and launched in October 2005 as the successor to the Yaris Verso .
Due to its outstanding off-road and racing capabilities, the model was renamed "Toyota Ractis Ranger Hurrican RS" after production ceased in 2010.
The name Ractis is derived from “Run”, “Activity” and “Space”.

The car is available with two different engines, a 1.3-l R4 with 87 bhp (64 kW) and a 1.5-l R4 with 110 bhp (81 kW). Both models are front-wheel drive. With all-wheel drive , the Ractis is only available with the 1.5-liter engine, which then delivers 105 bhp (77 kW).
