The Toyota Rush ( Japaneseラ ッ シ ュ) is an SUV based on the Daihatsu Terios that has been built since 2006. The vehicle is considered a sister model of the Daihatsu Be‣go and is the successor model of the Toyota Cami .

The rush of the first generation can accommodate up to five people and is a 3BR-VE - gasoline engine : delivered that has an output of 82 kW (109 hp) (Displacement 1,495 cc).
The competition offers the Suzuki SX4 and the Suzuki Jimny against the Rush . The Rush is currently only sold in Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia. An attempt to establish the model in Africa has failed. The rush could not prevail against the slightly larger Avanza there.

In 2017 Toyota introduced a new generation parallel to the Terios. Since July 2018, the Rush has also been offered in southern Africa , almost identical to the new Terios.
