Warren County is a county in the state of Ohio in the United States . The county seat is Lebanon .

The county is located in southwest Ohio and has an area of ​​1,054 square kilometers, of which 19 square kilometers are water. It is bordered clockwise by the following counties: Montgomery County , Greene County , Clinton County , Clermont County , Hamilton County, and Butler County .

The Old Log Post Office is one of 53 entries for the county in the NRHP.

Warren County was formed on March 24, 1803 from parts of Hamilton County. It was named after Joseph Warren , a doctor and hero in the American Revolutionary War , who was killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill .

The county has a National Historic Landmark , the Fort Ancient archaeological site . 53 buildings and sites in the county are listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) (as of May 19, 2018).

According to the 2000 census , Warren County had 158,383 people in 55,966 households and 43,261 families. The population density was 153 inhabitants per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 94.66 percent white, 2.73 percent African American, 0.18 percent Native American, 1.26 percent Asian, 0.03 percent of residents from the Pacific island area and 0.31 percent from other ethnic groups Groups; 0.84 percent were descended from two or more races. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 102.6 males. For every 100 women aged 18 or over there were statistically 102.4 men.

The median income for a household in the 57,952 USD , and the median income for a family was 64,692 USD. Males had a median income of $ 47,027 versus $ 30,862 for females. The per capita income was $ 25,517. 3.0 percent of families and 4.2 percent of the population lived below the poverty line. Of these, 4.4 percent were children or adolescents under 18 years of age and 4.7 percent were people over 65 years of age.
