The tour of the Australian national cricket team to the West Indies in the 1972/73 season took place from February 16 to April 26, 1973. The international cricket tour was part of the 1972/73 international cricket season and comprised five tests . Australia won the series 2–0.

prehistory

Australia previously played a tour against Pakistan , for the West Indies it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1968/69 season in Australia .
