The BONAIR Business Charter GmbH was a German airline based in Oberding .
History and destinations
Bonair had existed since 1990, although the actual company, which was later to carry out operational flight operations with its own fleet, was only founded in 1998. From 1999 onwards, a Beechcraft King Air 200 was operated based in Hangar 7 at Cologne / Bonn Airport ; In 2001 a Learjet 55 also followed .
On June 1, 2002, Munich-based MTM Aviation was taken over by Bonair. In the course of this decision, the latter also relocated its headquarters to the airport of the Bavarian capital, but nonetheless continued to maintain a second base at Cologne / Bonn Airport.
As of June 3, 2003 Bonair offered with a Dornier 328 scheduled flights between the airports Augsburg , the Dresden Airport and Zurich Airport to. That at that time 26 employees counting company was active beyond not only the cargo and courier flight, but also in health , infant and organ transportation. Members of the Toyota motorsport racing team and the Telekom cycling racing team were also transported on charter flights .
In March 2004, flight operations were stopped before the insolvency proceedings over the company's assets were finally opened on July 9 of the same year.
