Andy Roddick competed as defending champion in singles, but lost in this year's final against top seeded Robin Söderling , who won his seventh ATP title. In doubles, Jérémy Chardy and Marc Gicquel were the defending champions, but they did not compete this year. It won Lukáš Dlouhý and Paul Hanley , who benefited in the final against Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecău from the injury-related abandonment of Lindstedt. This was their first joint ATP title; for Hanley it was the 24th ATP title of his career, for Dlouhý the ninth.
The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize pool was $ 422,300 and total financial liabilities were $ 474,050.
The qualification took place from December 31, 2010 to January 2, 2011. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There was also a lucky loser.
