The village, which had previously belonged to Krumwald Castle, was first mentioned in a document in 1399, when Hermann von Neuhaus sold it, together with the goods in Bílkov, to Jan von Krawarn after the castle was destroyed . In 1404 the place belonged again to the lords of Neuhaus and was part of the Bílkov castle rule. In 1444 this castle was also destroyed. In the course of its history, the small place belonged to Bílkov for most of the time and was parish after Dačice . From 1459 the Kraiger von Kraigk owned the place until the 16th century. In 1610 Dobrohošť was added to the rule, with which he remained until the abolition of patrimonial rule in 1849. In 1850 Dobrohošť had 67 inhabitants who belonged to the Czech ethnic group.
