Hříšice (German Reispitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers northeast of Dačice in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands and belongs to the Okres Jindřichův Hradec .
geography
The Moravian village of Hříšice lies on the right side above the Vápovka valley. To the east extends a range of hills, the highest point of which is the 665 meter high Bába.
Neighboring towns are Strachoňovice and Dolní Vilímeč in the north, Červený Hrádek in the northeast, Jersice and Horní Slatina in the east, Vesce and Budíškovice in the southeast, Dobrohošť in the south, Bílkov in the southwest, Malý Pěčín in the west and Černíč in the northwest.
history
The village was first mentioned in 1353 as the property of Bohuněk von Volfířov. Since the end of the 14th century, Hříšice was subject to the Bílkov Castle, and after its destruction in 1444, the place came under the Dačice rule .
In 1656 the village consisted of 26 farmsteads and in 1840 there were 40 houses with 237 residents. In 1870 Hříšice became an independent municipality.
After Jersice was incorporated into Červený Hrádek in 1959, Hříšice was also incorporated in 1980. Since 1990 Hříšice has formed an independent municipality again.

The municipality Hříšice consists of the districts Hříšice ( Reispitz ) and Jersice ( Jersitz ), which also form cadastral districts.
