Horní Radouň (German Ober Radaun ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 13 kilometers north of Jindřichův Hradec and belongs to the Okres Jindřichův Hradec .
geography
Horní Radouň is located in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the Radouňský potok valley. To the west rises the 692 m high Najdecké Čihadlo.
Neighboring towns are Nový Bozděchov and Starý Bozděchov in the north, Dívčí Kopy and Hadravova Rosička in the east, Okrouhlá Radouň in the south-east, Kostelní Radouň in the south, Najdek in the south-west, Světce and Nedbalov in the west and Rosička and Hladov in the north-west.
history
The village was first mentioned in documents in 1487. Horní Radouň was part of the Neuötting-Vtschelnitz estate until the abolition of patrimonial rule in 1848 .
In 1960 Starý Bozděchov and Okrouhlá Radouň were incorporated, in 1980 Kostelní Radouň was added.
Community structure
The municipality Horní Radouň consists of the districts Bukovka ( Bukowka ), Horní Radouň ( Ober Radaun ), Nový Bozděchov ( New Postiechow ) and Starý Bozděchov ( Old Postiechow ).
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts Horní Radouň and Starý Bozděchov.
