history

The first mention of the village Peÿhöfen took place in 1499 in the land of Weitra . Until 1788 the place was parish after Gmünd and in the period from 1788 to 1791 the parish church was built. Services were held in the chapel during construction.

Beinhöfen originally belonged to the district of Schrems in Lower Austria and was located in the part of the Weitraer area that was assigned to Czechoslovakia in the Treaty of Saint-Germain in 1920 . The village was subsequently given the Czech name Německé .

In 1930 544 people lived in the village. In 1939 Beinhöfen had 433 residents. According to the Munich Agreement , the place was assigned to the German district of Gmünd from 1939 to 1945. After the end of the Second World War, Německé came back to Czechoslovakia. In 1948 the name was changed to Dvory nad Lužnicí .
