Rosička (German Rositschka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 15 kilometers north of Jindřichův Hradec and belongs to the Okres Jindřichův Hradec .
geography
Rosička is located in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands at the confluence of the Hladovský potok in the Direnský potok. The 692 m high Najdecké Čihadlo rises to the south.
Neighboring towns are Mnich in the north, Nový Mnich in the northeast, Hladov and Nový Bozděchov in the east, Horní Radouň in the southeast, Najdek in the south, Světce in the southwest, Březina in the west and Drunče in the northwest.
history
The village belonging to the Hradec rulership was first mentioned in documents in 1358. In the 16th century, the place came under the Choustník lordship and then became part of the property of the Červená Lhota lordship . After patrimonial was replaced , Rosička became independent in 1848. At that time Annovice belonged to Rosička.
In 1870 there were 270 people in Rosička. After 1945 the number of inhabitants was reduced to 66 and Annovice was connected to the Drunče, which is located directly next to it. In 1975 it was incorporated into Deštná. Since 1992 Rosička has been an independent municipality again.
