history
The village, situated in the border area of the lords of Ústí , Stráž and Třeboň , was first mentioned in 1388 in a document from Ulrich I von Rosenberg . It is believed that the place belonged to the Lords of Stráž before the Rosenbergs . Because of this border location, Klec changed rulers several times. At the beginning of the 15th century the Lords of Stráž were again the owners of Klec. Around 1400 they build the castle flight house at the Klec pond (also avian house, fluck house, Fogl house, Foglhauz, Fuglhauz banned. The name aviary corresponds to the Czech place name Klec in the sense of (bird) cage at the same place). Until it was sold in 1578, Klec was part of the Stráž estate.
Only a tree-lined hill on the Klec pond remains of the Flugaus Castle. The legend of a lady of the castle, who walks with her children as a white woman around the Klec, Potěšil and Naděje ponds, is related to him .
