Pluhův Žďár (German Pluhow , formerly Pluhowy Zdiar ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 12 kilometers northwest of Jindřichův Hradec and belongs to the Okres Jindřichův Hradec .
history
The village in 1267 was first mentioned in documents as the property of the services of I. Ulrich Neuhaus standing Pflugk of Rabenstein ( Pluhové for Rabštejna ). In the 15th century a fortress was established, which became the seat of Lords Pflugk of Žďár ( Pluhové ze Žďáře ).
A major fire devastated large parts of the village including the castle and the manor in 1802.

The community of Pluhův Žďár consists of the districts Červená Lhota ( Rotlhota ), Jižná ( Jischna ), Klenov ( Klenau ), Mostečný ( Mostetschna ), Plasná ( Plasna ), Pluhův Žďár ( Pluhow ), Pohoří ( Samosol ) and Pohoří ( Poolyhorsch ).
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Jižná, Klenov, Mostečný, Plasná, Pluhův Žďár, Pohoří u Kardašovy Řečice and Samosoly.
