Hatín (German Hatzken ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers southwest of Jindřichův Hradec and belongs to the Okres Jindřichův Hradec .
geography
Hatín is located in a pond landscape in the western foothills of the Javořická vrchovina at the transition to the Wittingau basin . To the east of the village is the Velký rybník pond.
Neighboring towns are Stajka and Roseč in the north, Polště in the east, Vydří in the southeast, Plavsko in the south and Šimanov and Jemčina in the southwest.
history
The village of Hatín , which belonged to the Hradec domain, was first mentioned in a document in 1389.
Under the Slavata of Chlum and Koschumberg , a stud farm with a riding arena and a forge was set up in 1673 at the Hinterer Hof on the Nežárka . The stately brewery was also located there. After the Slavata died out, the Czernin inherited the rule. Prokop Vojtěch Count Czernin had a zoo laid out in 1702. In the middle of the 18th century, the count had Anselmo Lurago build a baroque hunting lodge for his hunting parties and as a summer residence in the stud farm.
In 1960 Stajka was incorporated.
In 1990 the Czechoslovak missile troops cleared the Jemčina Castle, which had served the military since 1950. After the sale, the property was renovated in 2002.
Community structure
The municipality of Hatín consists of the districts Hatín ( Hatzken ), Jemčina ( stud farm ) and Stajka ( Stutten ). Hatín also includes the layers Evženovo Údolí ( Eugenthal ), Holenská Bašta, Na Sýkoře ( Sikora ), U Peřana ( Dampier ) and Zadní Dvůr ( Rear Court ).
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Hatín and Stajka.
Attractions
- Jemčina Castle in Jemčina, the baroque building on the right side of Nežárka was built in the middle of the 18th century by Anselmo Lurago for Prokop Vojtěch Count Czernin .
- Statues of St. Thekla and St. Sebastian, erected in 1750 on the road to Jindřichův Hradec
- Czernin Chapel at the forester's house in Eugenthal
