Újezdec (German Aujestetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 18 kilometers northwest of Jindřichův Hradec and belongs to the Okres Jindřichův Hradec . The community has 73 inhabitants.
geography
Újezdec is located in South Bohemia. To the west of the village is the ten hectare Podveský rybik pond and south of the Velká Ohrazenice with 36 hectares of water. In the south runs the railway line from Jindřichův Hradec to Veselí nad Lužnicí , whose next stop is in Záhoří .
Neighboring towns are Doňov in the north, Záhoří in the northeast, Pleše in the southeast, Vřesná in the south, Drahov and Zlukov in the southwest and Řípec in the west.
history
The village was mentioned for the first time in 1340. In 1616 Oujezdci consisted of 13 houses. Today the place has 47 houses.
