Strmilov (German Tremles ) is a city in the Czech Republic. It belongs to the Okres Jindřichův Hradec and is located 15 km east of Jindřichův Hradec at 545 m above sea level. M. on the border between Bohemia and Moravia . The Hamerský potok flows through the village .
history
The first mention of the place comes from the year 1255.
On October 10, 2006 Strmilov was mistakenly elevated to Městys . On October 17th this decision was revised and Strmilov was named a town with effect from October 10th.
