history
The village was first mentioned in 1381, when the Neuhauser citizen Otto called Kaldolt passed the village Lomy and half of Střížovice on to Niklas called Kadolt as hereditary property. Four years later he bequeathed his share to Hermann von Neuhaus auf Königseck .
After the von Neuhaus dynasty died out, the Slawata received the property in 1604. In the course of an inheritance, Střížovice fell to the Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn family in Telč together with Königseck .
In 1878 Střížovice was repared to Königseck. At that time there were 419 people in the village. As a result of industrial settlements, the population rose to 453 by 1882. In 1899 the narrow-gauge railway Jindřichův Hradec – Nová Bystřice began to operate. On January 1, 1980, together with Budkov and Vlčice, they were incorporated into Kunžak, and Střížovice has been an independent municipality again since 1990.
