geography

The community is located about 20 kilometers southwest of Karlsruhe in the woodless hill country between Lauter in the north and Seltzbach in the south. The eponymous Eberbach , a tributary of the Seltzbach, flows through the municipality . Neighboring communities of Eberbach-Seltz are Oberlauterbach in the north, Wintzenbach in the east, Niederrœdern in the south and Crœttwiller in the west.
