Batzendorf is a French commune in the department of Bas-Rhin in the region Grand Est (2015 Alsace ). The municipality, located about 30 kilometers north of Strasbourg , has 988 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

Batzendorf is a former imperial village .

During the French Revolution , Batzendorf was a village in the Bailliage de Haguenau .
