Jim Busby
James "Jim" Busby (born June 14, 1942 in Pasadena , California ) is a former American car racing driver and racing team owner.
Career
Jim Busby ran his own racing team in the IMSA GTP series . He belonged in the 1980s to the leading riders and won among others in 1981 that the World Sportscar Championship scoring 6-hour race at Riverside . Three times, in 1976 , 1985 and 1986 , he finished third overall in the Daytona 24-hour race .
Busby still runs his racing team and is thus active in the North American top fuel dragster scene . He also sells Ferrari road vehicles and owns a Ferrari F1-2000 and an F301B acquired from Scuderia . He regularly competes in historic Formula 1 races with these racing cars .
