Martin Kautz

Martin Kautz (born February 27, 1979 in Potsdam ) is a German actor , voice actor and musician .

Life

At the age of 10, Martin Kautz received drum and piano lessons and played as a percussionist in various youth orchestras, including the Federal Youth Orchestra and the Brandenburg Young Philharmonic . After completing a junior degree in classical drums at the Julius Stern Institute for the promotion of young musicians at the Berlin University of the Arts , Kautz studied drama in Zurich and also received classical vocal training.

Kautz had engagements at the Schauspielhaus Zurich and the Hamburg Thalia Theater as well as in the independent theater scene. He has become known above all as a voice actor in several hundred speaking roles. Since the end of the 2000s, Kautz has lent his voice to a large number of actors, including repeated Jon Bernthal , Michael Ealy and Taylor Kinney . Kautz is also active in the synchronization of cartoons and animation films, for example in Rio , Ralph rich and Zoomania .

He also reads audio books such as Gray: Told by Christian himself , based on the trilogy of novels Shades of Gray by EL James . Kautz still works in the music scene and leads his own big band together with Christian Kullack , having played drums in the Berlin band Herr Nilsson between 2004 and 2007 . In addition, Kautz moderated numerous events in the past for some well-known companies.
