Anicuns , officially Município de Anicuns , is a Brazilian , political municipality in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion Central Goiás and in the microregion Anicuns . It is located west of the Brazilian capital Brasília and the capital Goiânia .
The localities of Bairro dos Gomes, Capelinha and Choupana also belong to the municipality of Anicuns.
Geographical location
Anicuns (Goiás) borders
- in the north to the municipalities of Mossâmedes and Americano do Brasil
 - to the east with Itaberaí and Avelinópolis
 - to the south on Nazário and Turvânia
 - to the west on São Luís de Montes Belos and Adelândia
