Itauçu is a Brazilian political community and small town in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion central Goiás and in the micro-region Anápolis . It is located west of the Brazilian capital Brasília and northwest of the capital Goiânia .
Other localities in the municipality are Roselândia and Ordália.
The Rio Meia Ponte, which is important for the water supply of the metropolitan region of Goiânia, has its source in Itauçu .

Iauçu borders the municipalities:
- In the north at Taquaral de Goiás and Santa Rosa de Goiás
- To the east to Petrolina de Goiás
- To the south by Inhumas and Araçu
- To the west with Itaberaí
