Santa Cruz de Goiás , officially Portuguese Município de Santa Cruz de Goiás , is a Brazilian political municipality in the state of Goiás . It is located south-southwest of the Brazilian capital Brasília and southeast of the capital Goiânia . The population was estimated on July 1, 2019 at 2855 inhabitants, who are called santacruzanos . The community area is around 1109 km², the population density is 2.83 people per km².
