Buriti Alegre , officially Portuguese Município de Buriti Alegre , is a Brazilian political municipality in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion of South Goiás and in the microregion of Meia Ponte .
Geographical location
Buriti Alegre is located south-south-west of the Brazilian capital Brasília and south-south-east of the capital Goiânia in the south of Goiás with the Itumbiara reservoir as border water to the state of Minas Gerais .
