Nerópolis is a Brazilian political municipality and small town in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion of Central Goiás and in the Goiânia microregion . It is located southwest of the Brazilian capital Brasília and north of the capital Goiânia . The municipality belongs to the metropolitan area of ​​Goiânia .
