Mineiros is a Brazilian political municipality and city in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion South Goiás and in the micro-region of Southwest de Goiás . It is located southwest of the Brazilian capital Brasília and the capital Goiânia at the border triangle of Goiás / Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul . In 2019, an estimated 66,801 people lived in Mineiros.
