Cachoeira Dourada , officially Portuguese Município de Cachoeira Dourada , is a Brazilian political municipality in the south of the state of Goiás . The population was estimated to be 8,102 as of July 1, 2018.

It only became an independent parish on May 14, 1982 and consists of a single district.
