Aurilândia , officially Município de Aurilândia , is a Brazilian , political municipality in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion Central Goiás and in the microregion Anicuns . It is located west-southwest of the Brazilian capital Brasília and west of the city of Goiânia .

The municipality of Maximilândia also belongs to the municipality of Aurilândia.
