Arques ( Occitan : Arcas ) is a French commune with 135 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). Administratively it belongs to the arrondissement of Millau and is part of the canton of Raspes et Lévezou (until 2015: canton of Pont-de-Salars ). The inhabitants are called Arcasois .

geography

Arques is about 18 kilometers east-southeast of Rodez . The Viaur limits the municipality to the south. Arques is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bertholène in the north and north-west, Laissac in the north, Ségur in the south and east and Le Vibal in the west.
