The COVID-19 pandemic occurs in Latvia since the end of February 2020 as part of the global COVID-19 pandemic , which took place in December 2019 in China originated. Reactions and actions
From March 13 to April 14, 2020, the government closed all educational institutions and banned mass gatherings. Many concerts and events have been canceled and postponed to other dates. By March 20, 2020, at least 1,600 cultural and entertainment events had been canceled or postponed.
