Hilpoltstein Regional Court

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hilpoltstein Regional Court was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1803 to 1879 and was based in Hilpoltstein in what is now the Roth district , housed in the former ducal residence.

history

In 1808 it was assigned to the Altmühlkreis in the course of the administrative reorganization of Bavaria . When it was dissolved in 1810, it was initially assigned to the Upper Danube District, in 1817 to the Rezat District and finally in 1838 to the Upper Palatinate . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

location

The district court Hilpoltstein bordered on the west by the district court Pleinfeld , on the south by the district court Greding , on the southwest by the rule of court Ellingen (later district court White Castle ) and to the east by the Upper Palatinate .
