Two historical long-distance trade and pilgrimage routes meet in the village: the Ruta de la Lana and the Camino de Santiago de Sagunto ; a third way, the Camino del Cid , on the other hand, is a tourist creation.

The significant population decline that has been observed since the middle of the 20th century is essentially due to the mechanization of agriculture and the abandonment of small farms and the resulting loss of jobs ( rural exodus ).
economy
The community of Mamolar was and is almost exclusively characterized by agriculture and forestry. In the past, ox carts were made, which were often urgently needed by the wagoners and traveling traders on their travels (see also: Cabaña Real de Carreteros ). The place also offered the necessary regional services in the fields of handcraft and trade.
history
Although the location of the place at the intersection of two old trade and pilgrimage routes was quite significant, little is known about the history of the place.
Attractions
The Iglesia Santa Centola is a simple rural building with a Renaissance portal from the 16th and 17th centuries. Century. While the building consists of rubble stones , the corner stones are precisely carved.
