Manuel Díaz (fencer)

Manuel Dionysios Díaz Martínez (born April 8, 1874 in Havana , † February 20, 1929 in Rochester , New York ) was a Cuban fencer and Olympic champion.

Díaz participated in the 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis at the age of 30 . There he started in the saber singles and with the foil team. In both competitions he was able to win the gold medal.
